Silkroad IT Awarded New Long Term Indian Central Government Agency Project - Hyderabad, AP, India - April 18th, 2008
Silkroad IT has achieved another stepping stone in the right direction as being recognized as one of the leading information technology companies serving organizations on a global basis. In a previous project, Pavan Corporate Services, located in Hyderabad, India, awarded Silkroad IT a manpower project that would give India's Central Government agency the ability to digitize their customer data system. Pavan Corporate has been very impressed with Silkroad's IT track record to provide them the proper staffing needed to fulfill such vital requirements. As a result, Pavan Corporate Services and Silkroad IT have signed a 2 year contract with possible extension that entails Silkroad IT working on the central government agency's project. This new project has Silkroad IT in charge of everything, including hiring the proper personnel, controlling all payroll requirements, and any other HR related issues. Responsibilities among hired personnel include things such as pre processing, scanning, image enhancement, indexing, and post processing.

Further details of this new project include Silkroad IT providing a compliance manager for each location and a help desk with a site supervisor that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each compliance manager has specific duties such as, record keeping, salary payment, submission of monthly/daily MIS reports, ensuring the availability of appropriate resources, and coordinating with Pavan Corporate in resource planning, the interview process, along with the transfer of employees from one location to another. Help desk site supervisors will have one landline and one mobile phone number so he or she can be reached anytime, day or night. These help desks will be available to resolve any issues that may come up with each location.
